My name is Philippe and I started Longyi Brothers in 2015. I was first introduced to the longyi-lungi-sarong type of garment on a trip to Myanmar. I was immediately a fan and have had one with me ever since. I greatly appreciate all of you patrons and supporters of Longyi Brothers.

PRECISION = QUALITYEvery one of our longyi is proudly and ethically made in Bangkok, Thailand. This is a city where you can still see some people wearing the traditional dress in local neighbourhoods. Here longyi is called sarong. We work with a longstanding, independent tailor shop. The experience and precision of the tailors ensure that our product is top quality.
We avoid using plastic or unnecessary materials from production to delivery. Nor do we make cheap, disposable, fad clothing. We make garments that we believe in and hope you will wear and cherish for many years.

FABRICWe choose fabrics that not only make high quality longyis that are durable and feel good, but that also possess character and charm. Wearing a longyi should make you feel good and look good. We have taken time and care to select the right fabrics according to their feel, performance and aesthetics to produce our different longyi.

WHY THE NAME?I make longyi for all the brothers out there hence Longyi Brothers. But before LB was even an idea, I was a big fan of this simple garment. I wore longyi around the house, at the beach and on hikes. My friends were intrigued and I found myself giving them away. Hence the name also reflects the sharing nature of friendship and brotherhood. Although I cannot give free longyi to everyone, I would like to share the experience with you and accept pay what you can pricing upon request.
